Athlete Malachi Coleman has committed to play in the Polynesian Bowl. Coleman is the top-ranked recruit in Nebraska‘s 2023 recruiting class.

The Polynesian Bowl is an all-star game for high school seniors. It is played annually in Honolulu, HI. This year’s game will be played on January 20th at 4:00 P.M. HT. It will be broadcast on NFL Network.

Coleman, who plays both wide receiver and edge rusher, will play receiver in the game, per Greg Biggins of 247Sports.

Coleman spoke with Biggins about the opportunity:

“I’m very excited about the opportunity to play in the Polynesian Bowl. Before the season, this was a big goal for me so I’m really looking forward to it. I watched the game the last couple of years, saw Travis Hunter last year and it looked like a great time.”
